Three people have been transported to an area hospital for treatment following a carbon monoxide leak at the Rosedale Center on Thursday.
According to fire officials, crews responded to the 7000 block of Golden Ring Road for the reported leak. Officials said they arrived to the Rosedale Center, an alternative school, and evacuated the building.
Officials said one man, listed as priority 1, was transported to the UMMS hyperbaric chamber for treatment. Another man and woman were listed as priority 2, and also transported to UMMS. Officials said the three patients transported were not staff of the school.
The leak originated with a piece of auto equipment operating at an auto shop in the same complex as the Rosedale Center, officials said.
Fire officials said they are ventilating the building and source has been shut off.
