A sailboat fire that broke out near Strawberry Point on Monday was quickly extinguished with no injuries.
The Mattapoisett Fire Department responded to the boat within eight minutes of receiving the call, which Chief Andy Murray said is “pretty much unheard of.”
Three adults and one child were safely removed from the boat before firefighters extinguished the fire.
