According to the report, around 10 AM, a marina employee saw flames coming from a 55' Prestige 5500 Fly 2015 boat and called it in. It reportedly took 40 firefighters from Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Department and Fire Department boats from Kent, Queen Anne's, and Baltimore counties about 90 minutes to control the blaze.
Officials say that both the area of origin and the preliminary cause are under investigation, and no arrests or injuries were reported. Damages have been listed at around $1.5 million.
