A boat fire in Lantana sent a man to the hospital Thursday morning.
Palm Beach County Fire Rescue says crews responded to reports of a boat fire at the Loggerhead Marina on North Federal Highway around 11:15 a.m.
First arriving firefighters found a 32-foot cabin cruiser with a fire in the inboard engine compartment, PBC Fire Rescue says. Firefighters were able to quickly get the fire under control and extinguish it.
There were four people on board, according to fire rescue. A man was taken to a local area trauma hospital and three other patients were treated on scene by paramedics, but not taken to the hospital.
