Firefighters from Folly Beach Public Safety responded to the fire call at the marina shortly before 4:30 p.m., along with the Charleston, James Island and St. Johns fire departments, and the Coast Guard.
Crews found the fiberglass boat fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters say the boat was stocked with more than 200 gallons of fuel. It's unclear at this point if the fire damaged any other boats, but firefighters say it's likely.
The fire was put out after about an hour and a half. The boat eventually sank. No injuries were reported.
