A Lake Tahoe boat caught fire yesterday, prompting a good Samaritan and multiple agencies to step in and save the boat's owner.According to a tweet from the United States Coast Guard Pacific Southwest, the boat caught fire on Monday, July 20 and was saved before sinking into 21 feet of water.
With the help of the Coast Guard, a good Samaritan was able to rescue the boat's 43-year-old owner.
A Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection crew then arrived as extinguished the fire shortly after.
