The U.S. Coast Guard has confirmed that one person was injured Saturday morning in a boat fire in Port Clinton.
Crews responded after heavy smoke was seen billowing off of a boat about a half mile off shore from the Portage River.
Authorities said there were two people on board. One individual was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
No further information has been released.
