Anne Arundel County fire crews were called to Blake’s Bar Harbor Marina in Pasadena after a 35-foot long boat went up in flames Sunday morning, officials said.
Fire crews were called to 208 Bar Harbor Road about 3:50 a.m., said Capt. Russ Davies, a spokesman for the county Fire Department. A Baltimore City fire boat was also dispatched.
The boat was parked at the marina's dock when it was engulfed in flames.
The fire was extinguished at 6 a.m. and the scene was turned over to the Maryland Department of the Environment, Davies said.
The boat is a “total loss,” said Davies.
No injuries were reported. Officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
