Fire destroys two boats on Beaver Lake - Rogers, AR

Fire destroyed two boats at Rocky Branch Marina in Rogers along Beaver Lake Wednesday.
According to Rocky Branch Fire Chief Jerry Oliver, the department received the call at 5:15 p.m.
AdvertisementWhen firefighters arrived, both boats were fully engulfed.
One was a house boat and the other was a cruiser.
Chief Oliver said the weather impacted their response time and it took about 30 minutes to put out the fire.
The chief said another boat was saved from the fire by crews when it was cut loose and pushed it away.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation by marina management.
No injuries were reported.
