A boat in Santa Rosa Sound was heavily damaged by a fire.
Gulf Breeze Fire Department got the call just before 5:30 on Sunday off Deerpoint Lane.
Fire Chief Shane Carmichael said a man and woman were able to get off the boat safely.
It took fire boats about three hours to put the fire out.
The boat is beached on a sandbar and poses no threat to navigation.
