A 56-year-old man was badly burned when a fire broke out Wednesday morning on a boat docked at a marina near the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City, authorities said
The blaze broke out at about 7:50 a.m. in dock B of the Farley State Marina and was put out within minutes by the Atlantic City Fire Department and the U.S. Coast, Guard, a State Police spokesman said. The boat was badly damaged, while a vessel next to it sustained less serious damage.
The man was brought to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City with second-degree burns, authorities said. No one else was hurt.
