Portland Fire and Rescue put out a sailboat fire near the Eastbank Esplanade on the Willamette River Sunday evening.
Nobody died or was injured, a spokesman said, and the boat was still floating after the fire was extinguished. It took the department about 15 minutes to get it under control, the spokesman said. The department is still trying to figure out what caused the fire.
