Officials with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources responded to a boat fire at Mary Alice Park on Lake Lanier at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 4.
According to DNR public affairs officer Mark McKinnon, after a brief investigation, it appears that the boat has just been fueled but not vented.
There were no injuries in the incident.
