St. Lucie County Fire District crews extinguished a boat fire Thursday afternoon at the Fort Pierce City Marina, a Fire District spokesperson said.
Crews were called at 2:34 p.m. to the incident in which a roughly 60-foot long vessel caught fire, Fire District spokesperson Brenda Stokes said.
The fire was out in about 30 minutes, she said.
Stokes said the cause was not immediately known and is under investigation.
The amount of damage to the boat wasn’t immediately clear.
