According to the U.S. Coast Guard, three people were rescued from a vessel on fire about 35 miles offshore of Panama City Wednesday afternoon.
Coast Guard officials say they were aided by good samaritan vessels to rescue the three boaters.
They say the three boaters were taken onshore in stable condition and one was treated for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
