Two people were injured Saturday evening when a small boat caught fire, St. Lucie County Fire District officials report.
Crews responded at about 5:15 p.m. to the dock betweenCobbs Landing and The Original Tiki Bar & Restaurant in the northern end of Fort Pierce. A man and woman sustained burns.
Fire officials did not say how severe the burns were, or whether either person required medical transport.
A nearby boat was also exposed to the fire. No other injuries were reported.
