Two people were treated for burns following a boat fire on the Housatonic River in Stratford on Monday.
Fire crews extinguished the blaze on Monday morning, with the department's Safeboat.
The Safeboat is docked at the Birdseye Boat Ramp on the Housatonic River south of I-95 and is responsible for approximately 20 miles of shoreline on Long Island Sound, fire officials said.
