A Wayne County Sheriff's boat was destroyed after boat fires in Sodus Bay Friday night.
Deputies say it happened at Krenzer Marine in the Village of Sodus Point. Investigators believe that a boat caught fire while 68-year-old Theodore Koren - a resident of Drums, Pennsylvania - was performing fuel system maintenance on it. The fire then spread to the Wayne County Sheriff's boat, a 27-foot Boston Whaler, which was docked nearby.
Both boats were reportedly destroyed, as was a dock owned by Krenzer Marine.
